This Privacy Policy explains how CRAY8EVE GAMES j.d.o.o. (“Cray8eve Games”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with our websites, our PC games on Steam, and our free companion quiz apps for iOS and Android.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

Account

means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.

Affiliate

means an entity that controls, is controlled by or is under common control with a party, where “control” means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest or other securities entitled to vote for election of directors or other managing authority.

Application

refers to the free companion quiz apps we provide for iOS and Android, which let players answer questions on their phone while the game runs on a PC.

Company

(referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to CRAY8EVE GAMES j.d.o.o., Višnjevac 13, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia.

Country

refers to: Croatia.

Device

means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.

Personal Data

is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.

Service

refers to our websites, our games, and the Applications, collectively.

Service Provider

means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.

Usage Data

refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

You

means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

3. What this policy covers

This policy applies to:

• Our websites, including cray8eve.com and our game pages hosted under it;
• Our PC games distributed on Steam;
• Our free companion quiz apps for iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play), which let players answer questions on their phone while the game runs on a PC.

4. Information we do not collect

We have designed our products to work without collecting personal data. Specifically:

• Websites: no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising, and no contact forms or accounts. We do not build profiles of visitors.
• Apps: our companion apps do not ask you to register, do not require an account, and do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, contacts, location, or advertising identifiers. The apps are free and contain no ads.

How the apps connect to the game

To play, the companion app connects your phone to the PC running the game — typically over your local network or by joining a game session with a room code. This connection is used only to send your quiz answers to the game in real time. It is a technical connection to run the game; we do not use it to identify you or to store personal data about you.

5. Third-party platforms

We distribute our products through third-party platforms, and some website features rely on third-party services. When you use these, that provider’s own privacy policy applies to the data they process — we do not control it:

• Valve / Steam — distribution and purchase of our PC games, including any account, payment, and store analytics handled by Steam. (Steam Privacy Policy)
• Apple App Store and Google Play — distribution of our free apps, including any data those stores collect when you download or install them.
• YouTube (Google) — some pages embed a game trailer using the privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) player.
• Facebook and YouTube — we link to our public social media pages; visiting them is governed by those platforms’ policies.

Links to other websites

Our websites and apps may contain links to sites that we do not operate. If you click a third-party link, you will be taken to that third party’s site, and we strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

6. Children’s privacy

Our quiz games are family-friendly and suitable for players of all ages. Because we do not collect personal data from anyone — including children — through our websites or apps, we do not knowingly gather information from children. Purchases and downloads made through Steam, the Apple App Store, or Google Play are subject to those platforms’ own protections and any parental controls you have set up. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it from our records.

If we ever needed to rely on consent as the legal basis for processing a child’s information, and the child’s country requires a parent’s consent, we would obtain that parent’s consent before collecting or using the information.

7. Your rights (EU / GDPR)

We are based in Croatia (EU), and we respect the rights granted by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because we do not collect or store personal data about our website visitors or app users, in practice we hold no such data to act on. Where any personal data does reach us (for example, if you email us), you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate data;
• request erasure of your data;
• request restriction of, or object to, our processing;
• request a copy of your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@cray8eve.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian supervisory authority, the Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) — azop.hr.

8. If you contact us

If you email us directly, we will receive the email address and any information you choose to include, and we will use it only to respond to you. We keep such correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and do not use it for marketing.

9. Data security and international transfers

We keep the limited information we do receive (such as email correspondence) with reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Some of the third-party platforms listed above operate internationally and may process data outside the EU under their own legal safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new policy on this page and revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted here. Because we do not collect contact details, we are unable to notify users individually, so we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes.
